Singalong Cursive Handwriting is released to Apple, Google Play and Amazon App Stores
Welcome to a new way of learning cursive handwriting, combining music, images and interactive fun. Cursive handwriting is in the school curriculum for children to form letters in a flowing way, starting at the bottom and joining up with other letters to form ‘joined up writing’.
Our app is designed by a school teacher to support the curriculum ensuring cursive handwriting is made easy and fun. To aid learning, links are required between what is heard, seen and done; ‘auditory’, ‘visual’ and ‘kinaesthetic’ learning helps learners remember it. We join these elements together so children learn to form each letter by hearing the music, linking the letter shape to an image whilst tracing with their finger. We have 7 letter sets with images and songs to bring each to life. Our music links what is being heard to what is being drawn, matching the style of the letter and movement direction. Our app is positive, rewarding and welcoming for children. The letters are introduced by their name and sound as children should learn both for reading and writing words. Our collection support phonics progression as encouraged by many schools in the United Kingdom and USA.
The Singalong Cursive Handwriting app has been written in conjunction with CTMS Ltd, creators of The Nursery Rhyme Collection.
Available, now, on the Apple, Amazon and Google Play app stores.
